Coffee in Tunisia
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

I love how coffee can bring people together. In many ways, it is understood globally that going for a coffee is actually about creating a space that allows for conversation and laughter and reflection. After a hectic week at the World Summit on the Information Society, many of us from the Youth Caucus went out for coffee in Tunisia.

5 Years of TIG
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

While in Tunisia at the World Summit on the Information Society, we had a big BIRTHDAY PARTY to celebrate 5 Years of TIG! It was so wonderful to enjoy this with many TIG members, staff, volunteers and partners. We had a HUGE cake, enjoyed a lovely meal and dancing!

I remember our 1st birthday - several of our members suggested having a cake party in their countries - which was a lot of fun. I think that birthdays are such an important time to reflect on and celebrate who you are and where you've come from.

Youth Hub @ WSIS
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

I really love how things turned out with the Youth HUB at WSIS - it was a happening place attracting many youth and those interested in working with youth. We had great sessions, displays and networking. While it became stressful at times in terms of logistics as well as financials - it really came together and helped contribute to a sense of community and solidarity.
