Our energy
moves us and flows through us
like the air we breathe
and water we drink.
It then propels us
forward and outward
helping us to regenerate and catalyze
within ourselves and with others.
We grow
as we discover our life force.
We can tap it, channel it, shake with it
or even play with it.
We are guided
by our own thoughts
intentions and kindness.
We attract what we are willing to share
with expressions of gratitude.
We receive what we generously offer.
Bliss is found in thankfulness.

Hey Jen,
Long time no see!
Thanks for sharing your poem - I think it is insightful to realise that being _thankful_ can be more empowering than striving for a goal due to a recognition of absence. If we continually focus on what we lack or what we may become (but not necessarily what we may achieve), we can easily forget what we have and what abilities we can harness or emphasise, because they are our strengths, our trophies, our pride.
Self-worth is so powerful! It is something I am struggling to learn.
I guess you're also saying that if we let ourselves feel gratitude, it will let others feel it, too. Just as if we can appreciate ourselves _honestly_, others can, too. Also another lesson that is hard to learn. Hmph!
Thanks for the thoughts. :)

This post is actually quite akin to thoughts and ideas I have been mentally digesting lately. I really enjoyed reading it.
